QUESTION: I tend to buy more expensive brands for my face and use the cheaper versions for my body. How is this for the face?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner works equally well on your face and body. What's great is that you only need a tiny amount for your face.
QUESTION:Does this product work with really pale people?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner works with most skin tones. Pale skin, YES. Pale skin redheads, Many (but not 100%). I have many pale customers that love Famous Dave's Self Tanner. I also offer a product called Fair Skin and Face for those who may have lighter skin tones or want a more subtle tan.
QUESTION: Other products can leave your hands discolored and I wondered if this will do that?
ANSWER: Yes it can. ALL self-tanning products contain dihydroxyacetone. This is what tans you. It works by bonding with the protein in your skin. Provided, your hands are washed thoroughly with soap and water for at least 30 seconds - immediately following application - NO self tanner will give you tan palms.
QUESTION: How long can you expect it to last before it wears off?
ANSWER: People are different although you can expect your color to remain for 3-4 days. It will then begin to gradually lighten naturally until more is applied. Typically the bottle lasts for approximately 1 month of use.
QUESTION:Is this tanner waterproof?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner will not wash off even while showering with soap, providing that you wait at least one hour after each application.
QUESTION:How about the problem with streaking?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner is different than most other products in that, it is NOT a gel or a greasy cream. Famous Dave's Self Tanner is a creamy smooth lotion very similar in consistency to hand lotion. It applies very easily. However, remember self tanning products will tan you where you put them. If your application is haphazard and sloppy, so too will be your tan.
QUESTION:How long do I wait before clothes can be put on? Will it get on my bed linens when I sleep?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner dries to the touch almost immediately as it is applied to the skin and dressing can occur within 5 minutes of the application. Famous Dave's Self Tanner does not rub out on sheets or clothing.
QUESTION:Does it have color in it so you can tell where to apply it?
ANSWER: Most of the products that have added color are quite odorous. Because Famous Dave's Self Tanner goes on so smoothly without streaking, there is no need for a color additive.
QUESTION:It really has no scent?
ANSWER: Unlike ALL other tanning products, Famous Dave's Self Tanner has virtually NO FRAGRANCE.
QUESTION:How long does the bottle last?
ANSWER: All tanners have an active ingredient that lasts for about 1 year. All of our products are made fresh.
QUESTION:How dark does this stuff get you compared to other tanners in general?
ANSWER: Famous Dave's Self Tanner will get your skin as dark as you would like. Once applied, your color will develop in about 4 hours. After that time, if you would like a darker tan, just re-apply.
QUESTION:Does this really work? I would like to buy it (I've tried many tanners, none of them worked) PLEASE convince me to buy this!!!
